The weather this past weekend was my favorite kind; overcast, rainy, a slight chill in the 70 degree air, I just loved it! It was the perfect opportunity to breakout some of my new Nordstrom Anniversary Sale pieces too. I just recently started liking yellow, mustard, goldenrod, saffron, etc.. Normally I am not drawn to this color family, but I am happy to report I have been won over, and am officially a fan. I spent most of Saturday coziest up with my computer working on wedding tasks while sipping coffee and listening to the rain. That atmosphere definitely got me craving all things fall. So, when the rain stopped and we had the opportunity to leave the house, I couldn’t wait to break out this cardigan that had just arrived in the mail. It pairs perfected with these studded mules too. I know many of you are still savoring the sun and heat, but this girl just wasn’t made for the hot, humid days of summer here in the D. So, don’t mind me, I will just be over here counting down the days until pumpkin spice and all things fall are upon us. Luckily, this outfit can easily be modified for work (add black pants if you can’t wear jeans), weekend (add shorts and sandals), or date night (add skirt and heels) during the summer too! And I don’t care if it’s 100 degrees out, I always carry or wear a cardigan to work, restaurants, movie theaters, shopping centers, etc. because the AC is always cranked so it’s frigid! Most of these items are in stock in a bunch of sizes, so be sure to grab them while the NSALE is still going on, prices go up on August 5th!
